River Don

It has been a while since I entered anything into the blog, so here we go.

I visited one of my favourite haunts on the River Don in Kemnay today and yesterday. Yesterday I spotted 2 juvenile Hooper Swans, A Pink Footed Goose, Goldeneye, Tufted Ducks, and Male Goosanders. It was getting dark rapidly so none of the photos taken were good quality due to having the lens at its maximum aperture, so I returned again in full day light today. What I saw today were 15 mute swans - mostly adults but one or two cygnets - 2 Pink Footed Geese, Tufted Ducks. Here is one of the Pink Footed Goose.

You can tell it is a Pink Footed Goose by the pink on the bill.

Here is a photo of the Tufted Duck.
